Hi!

Sarah Helsinger and I are very excited to be serving as Miamisburg High School's Tech Coaches.  

We were motivated to apply for these positions, because we felt there was a need for leadership and support in the area of using technology in the classroom. 

Our goal is to work with you and for you to identify tools, resources, and content that will help you and your students in the educational process.  As part of our position, we will meet monthly with the other Tech Coaches in the district, as well as members of administration and the technology department.  We will advocate for your issues and concerns, and look to identify things to bring back to the building that will help you in the classroom.

We recognize that from time to time, the technology will not be working properly in your classroom.  We understand how frustrating that can be.  In those instances, you should continue to contact the tech department by filling out a tech request.  If we can help, we will.  But, our focus is primarily related to the use of technology for teaching and learning purposes.  

We will be communicating with your regularly, asking if there are tools and resources you need, asking you to share tools and resources that work for you, and asking you what you see as the long term technological needs of the high school.
